The Minne-Ha-Ha

The Minne-Ha-Ha is a steamship that cruises on Lake George, New York. The ship derives its power from steam, which turns a paddlewheel on one end of the ship (shown below). If you visit Lake George, which is about one hour north of Albany along Route 87 in New York, you can take a cruise on the Minne-Ha-Ha, or you can also cruise on the Lac du Saint Sacrament, a larger ship that features a lunchtime brunch.  Shown below are pictures of the Minne-Ha-Ha and its paddlewheel, along with some pictures of the landscape along Lake George. The paddlewheel on the Minne-Ha-Ha creates flow rather than measuring it like a paddlewheel flowmeter.
